Daniel Sur, AIA, NCARB

Principal Architect, Partner

Daniel Sur graduated with the highest-level Architectural degree from National University of Cordoba in Argentina in 1990. He has been a licensed architect since 1991, an AIA member since 2003, and NCARB certified since 2011. At the start of his architectural career, Mr. Sur worked as an Urban Designer and Landscape Architect in several towns in Cordoba, Argentina. He was awarded the prestigious project of Environmental Design and Master Plan of the City for Rio Ceballos in Cordoba, and the design of a school campus in Montecristo, Cordoba. He then worked as an Architectural Consultant for the United Nations in Cordoba prior to moving to the United States and becoming a US Citizen. Mr. Sur continued his career in the USA working as an Inspector & Plans Reviewer for commercial and residential buildings for the City of Raleigh, NC and then as a Architect/Project Manager for Cahoon & Kasten Architects in the Outer Banks, NC. Mr. Sur joined The Princeton Companies as a Project Architect in 2004. Mr. Sur’s extensive and varied experience, passion for design, and his fluency in both English and Spanish, make him a invaluable asset to each project he is involved with. While with The Princeton Companies, he has been involved in the design of Westwood Country Club Pool House, Turning Stone Resort & Casino, Cardinal Hill Swim & Racquet Club, Creighton Farms, Loudoun Golf & Country Club, The Life Center Animal Hospital, Leesburg Veterinary Hospital, and countless other residential and commercial projects.

Mr. Sur became a partner of The Princeton Companies in 2018 and currently oversees the company’s day to day operations and serves as the main contact for all our ongoing projects. He also initiated a partnership/merger between ADS – Architectural Design Services to expend TOC’s specialized architectural design visualization services.

Affiliations

NCARB certified in 2011. AIA member since 2003. Active Architectural licenses in Virginia (06/2011), Maryland (10/2011), D.C. (11/2012), Georgia (04/2016), and Cordoba, Argentina (05/1991). Completed Law and Administration course for building code enforcement (03/2002). Completed Building Inspection Level III coursework for International Building Code (09/2002).
